When we begin working with a hotel, the first thing we do is ask our partner to tell us their story: value proposition, target audiences, markets, lead time, opening and closing dates, distribution channels, extras, repeat guests, destination strengths, peak seasons, pain points, current percentage of direct sales, etc. Understanding where they are is crucial to knowing how far they can go and how we are going to get them there. That’s when technology comes into action. Not before.
